Sharp Compet 12 (CS-12) Desktop Calculator
Sharp-made 12-digit, four function desk calculator with rotary switch
settable fixed decimal position. Small-scale MOS IC-design combined with
discrete diode-transistor logic. Introduced in 1969. Utilizes Itron
vacuum-fluorescent display tubes similar to those used in the
Sharp QT-8D. Photo is of model
CS-12D. The "D" postfix indicates the revision of the design. Known models
are CS-12A, CS-12C, CS-12D. Revisions are mostly internal only. Any and
all model CS-12 calculators wanted. OEM's were Facit with the Model 1128,
and Addo-X with the Model 9666. Either of these machines are also wanted.
